The Blended Counselling Practice

Supporting individuals and companies, face-to-face, online and by telephone.

Providing the support you need, when and how you need it.

Why counselling?

We understand life can be a lot. Stress and anxiety are a part of today’s working culture and the simple fact is, we can’t control everything in our lives.

We offer a safe and empathetic space for you to explore whatever you’d like to talk about, without judgement and in a way that suits you, whether that’s face to face, online or on the phone, or maybe you prefer to walk and talk.

Get in touch today for a free 15-minute consultation to see whether we are the right fit for you.

What is blended counselling?

At The Blended Counselling Practice, as therapists we understand that we are all wonderfully unique and that you like to be supported in a way that works best for you. In this hectic world we live in, it’s especially important to find the time to talk but it’s not always possible to be in the same location. That’s why we offer individual counselling sessions over the phone and online, as well as face to face, and a walk and talk option. You can blend those in whatever combination suits your own situation. In our initial consultation appointment, we’ll discuss the best way forward for you and, of course, it is always open to review and adjustment as we work together.

In Person

The session is set in a confidential environment in a physical location where we can banish the distractions of everyday life and focus on your mental wellbeing.

Online

Online counselling sessions allow you to work from anywhere. We can’t control your environment, so it is up to you to make sure you are in a place you can talk freely, and express yourself safely.

Telephone

You may prefer working with us by phone – the choice is totally yours. If you are unable to make it to a face-to-face or computer session then you can have uninterrupted support over the phone.

Walk & Talk

We take our in-person sessions outside into the fresh air where we can get closer to nature and talk as we walk.

Offsite Wellness Events

Our wellness events are designed to support companies who wish to invest in the good mental health of their staff by building focused businesses with a strong rapport between teams and departments.

We have seen the landscape change in recent years, with more people working at home, or a hybrid of home and office. Our events can help integrate teams and combat the isolation of home-based workers which can lead to a downward spiral into poor mental health.

Our events get you out of the office environment and include sailing an ocean racing yacht on the Solent, wine blending in a chateau near Bordeaux, taking the controls of a plane and more; they are tailored to the specific needs of your business and can include one-to-one time with our counsellors.

It starts with a chat

Blended counselling means you have flexibility in the therapeutic support you need, whether it be face to face, online, on the phone or a combination of all three. We understand that it takes courage to ask for help and making that first call can be anxiety-inducing. We’re here to make it as stress-free as possible and in our initial consultation we’ll discuss which method of support works best for you.

One of the most important aspects of therapy with successful outcomes is the relationship between the therapist and the client and we understand that it takes time to build up trust. We work with all individuals however they identify.

To take the first step, please email us at info@blendedcounsellingpractice.com or fill out the contact form below and we will be in touch to arrange a time to talk when you are in a safe environment and can speak freely.
